Hi! I’m Hadrien Develay, an Aerospace Engineering graduate from the University of Southampton with a passion for integrating computer science with spacecraft engineering. My academic projects included designing a passive magnetic axial thrust bearing and an unmanned vehicle, forming a solid foundation in engineering and space exploration.

Professionally, I started as a Web Software Engineer at Luminance, where I led the overhaul of the company website and developed key front-end components. My role also involved mentoring, enhancing my skills in team collaboration and web technology.

Outside work, I'm an enthusiastic sportsman involved in skydiving, sailing, and bouldering, and a BASI Level 1 Ski Instructor. I enjoy DIY projects, 3D printing, and multimedia production. Fluent in French and English with knowledge of Spanish and Norwegian, I'm eager to apply my diverse skills in new challenges.

Grainy Gradients

An app that creates beautiful grainy gradients, using a simple and intuitive interface. You can randomize the colors and sizes of the shapes, then export in different resolution.

Fridge List

A simple shopping list app that generates a link and a qr code to let the whole household access and edit easily digitally. Perfect when living in a shared apartment. The lists are updated live using Supabase's realtime subscriptions. This was a personal project to learn Next.js and Supabase, as well as to create a useful tool for my household.

Orbital Calculator

An app to calculate some simple manoeuvres. This is a personal challenge to review some orbital mechanics fundamentals, as well as implement a robust calculating and plotting tool into a React Vite app. For the moment, it only includes a circular Hohmann transfer, but I am working to introduce tools for elliptic and bi-elliptic Hohmann transfers

Chess for iPhone

Chess for 2 players on one device, this was made for iPhones, and is used as a Progressive Web App (PWA) by clicking 'Add to Homescreen' from Safari. I wanted to use Vite for this project to create my React app, as I had never used it and had too many problems with create-react-app.

Skiing

I have been skiing since forever but only recently have I started to ski more seriously. One of my lifestyle goals is to be able to ski on weekends casually whenever I want.
